“Every Road Tells a Story. Here’s One From the Sky.”
🛣️ – Drone Photography Over a Road
Some roads lead somewhere.
Others just let you breathe.
This one cuts through Los Lunas, framed by dry brush and the last light of the day. From the ground, it’s just a two-lane highway. But from the sky? It’s a line through time — a quiet reminder of all the places we’ve been and the ones we still might go.
Everyone’s got a road like that.
The one you’ve driven a hundred times but still catch yourself staring at.
The one you took the long way home on.
The one you left something behind on.
📖-Chasing Shots Across Los Lunas
Some days, the best part of drone photography isn’t the flight — it’s the drive.
That morning, I started at Tome Hill, watching the sun climb over the horizon, casting long shadows across the valley. The wind was calm, the light was soft — perfect conditions. I caught the hillside glowing, with Los Lunas slowly waking up in the background.
From there, I drove south — past open fields and quiet backroads — until I found a lonely stretch of highway, the kind where the lines blur into the distance. I sent the drone up low, tracing the road like it was a ribbon laid across the desert.
Later, I pulled off near a cornfield, where the stalks stood tall and golden, swaying with the breeze. It reminded me of late summers and slow days. The kind of scene that hits differently when you see it from above — layered, peaceful, honest.
Each spot was different.
Each flight told a new part of the story.
And every time I packed up, I felt like I’d seen my hometown in a new way.
